Morzine & Meribel 8th - 22nd March 2008
Here we go again. What was just a simple trip to Meribel for 4 people for a week
has turned into a 2 week, 2 resort 7+ people trip!!!
Here is the plan (Updated 25/01/08):
Leave Burgess Hill at around 19:30 on Sat 8th March 2008 with 2 cars with 5 people in.
We
get the Chunnel at 21:56 which should put us in Morzine at around 0900 on Sun 9th March
2008. This should give us enough time to board on Sunday. We board for 6 days in
Morzine then we pack up and leave on Sat 15th March and drive down to Meribel
(62miles). We plan leave Morzine at around 11:00 to get there around 15:00.
2 more will join us in Meribel to give us
the full complement of 7 people. Then we board for 6 days in Meribel
then leave to come home on Sat 22nd getting back to the ferry for 9pm and then
getting back to Brighton by midnight. This gives everyone 2 days to recover
before going back to work. There was the option of staying in Meribel for the
extra 2 days but by majority vote that idea has been binned.

Morzine accommodation and Chunnel/ferry needs to be
paid now. This means £167 ( is needed
from the people going to Morzine ASAP as has been paid for,
£132 to Penfold & £35 to Harry & Yellow.
£15 is needed from the only Meribel people.
Rest of the balance will need to be
paid by 2nd February including fuel if possible. Lift passes are to be purchased by
yourselves when we get to resort, the prices shown are
at the exchange rate of 1.3
Hopefully these plans are good for everyone. They are changeable until we start
booking things up so speak up if anyone wants to do anything different.

here The total price of this is £667.
The Meribel Accommodation is located 2 mins walk from La Taverne so it is right
in the centre. Total Price for this is €1096 (£914 @ 1.2)
